What we do

Our mission is to make Britain the most enterprising nation in the world, and through our clubs, networks and innovative programmes we provide support to entrepreneurs across the spectrum. This ranges from young people still in education, right through to the entrepreneurs behind some of the most successful companies in the UK today.

For innovative high growth entrepreneurs beyond start up
The Supper Club is a group of the country’s most innovative, fast growth entrepreneurs who share knowledge, experience and contacts in the spirit of give and take. We support our members by making valuable connections to assist with business challenges and opportunities and arrange events for confidential discussions and the sharing of best practice between peers.
For directors of growth businesses
The Prelude Club is for founders and directors of UK-based businesses who are beyond start up but keen to rapidly accelerate their growth beyond around 5 staff and £250k turnover. There is a LinkedIn group for peer group discussions called Prelude Network which is focused on bringing together qualifying people with different experiences to share insights with each other as well as with some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs (Supper Club members).

Prelude continually develops best practice in conjunction with The Supper Club sharing the insights through Master Classes
and other means. If you would like to register your interest, please contact us.

Cavendish, the UK’s leading Corporate Finance boutique. It is aimed at owner/managers of fast-growing businesses who
want to plan now to maximise the value on the sale of their business in the future: typically two years or more.

This unique, high-octane Master Class will leave you in no doubt about how to maximise the value of your business. You will
leave the course with the knowledge, tools and an Action Plan that will ensure a higher valuation of your company when
you decide to exit.

“It’s the best investment in training I’ve ever made, bar none. This master class is a ‘must do’.” - Linda Fenwick, Ozone

We have asked a number of successful entrepreneurs to tell their story of how they made it to where they are today, in order to give others the inspiration to do it themselves! These entrepreneurs (members of The Supper Club) share the good and the bad experiences and demonstrate success can come from a very broad range of starting points!

Read their stories and prepare to be inspired!

As a pledge by Supper Club members to support the first year of StartUp Britain, over 1600 hours of mentoring time were offered to support early stage businesses in 2011.

As we have now reached the end of StartUp Britain’s first year, this scheme is now CLOSED to new applicants. However StartUp Britain continues to offer a number of services to help entrepreneurs develop their businesses. You can find out more here.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the programme. We were delighted with its success and have received some great feedback from those who took part.

Impact

  • 128 entrepreneurs pledged 1613 hours of mentoring time
  • 85% of mentees in the scheme stated their mentor sessions will help them to grow their business faster
  • Just under half stated they believe their revenue will increase by 25% or more as a result
  • 70% stated they will be recruiting more people this year as a result

Rise To logo
Rise To Challenge
The Rise To Challenge is an annual enterprise competition offering young people (18+) opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills, have a great experience and be spotted by some of the top entrepreneurial companies in the country.
Entrepreneurs who sponsor or partner with the Challenge have the opportunity to recruit proven talent that’s right for their business.
An online community aimed at creating recognition for unsung heroes
Our mission is to make a dramatic difference to our communities by encouraging everyone to thank those who make our lives better. You may want to thank someone who has changed (or even saved) your life or someone who has influenced your life in a positive way.
Imagine how that teacher, nurse or business mentor would feel being thanked publicly for what they’ve done. Then imagine what happens when lots of people do the same. We want all those truly remarkable people to be identified through ThanksTo for being outstanding in what they do and recognised for their valuable contributions.
But every day people do things that should be encouraged. Thank the bus driver who actually stops and reopens the door when you’re running to catch it; the babysitter who steps in at short notice to look after the kids or the friend who organises the group holiday. The examples are endless…
By thanking someone you can guarantee a smile, by helping us champion those that truly deserve public recognition we’ll change the definition of high net worth.
